Gyechon Classic Festival

An annual festival held in Gyechon Village, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do Province since 2015, enriching everyday life through the arts and expanding access to classical music.

  • Annual Gyechon Classic Festival and Starlight Orchestra education program
    (students at Gyechon Elementary and Middle School)
CMK Ensemble

A development program for outstanding young artists who will shape the future of classical music in Korea, offering comprehensive support through a range of activities including music camps, ensemble coaching, and performances.

Key Information
  • Eligibility: Recipients of the CMK Culture & Arts Scholarship majoring in classical music
  • Programs:

    - Educational activities, including music camps, masterclasses, and mentoring sessions

    - Performance opportunities, including CMK Concerts and the Chamber Music Series

    - Opportunities to perform on international stages such as the Verbier Festival, Zurich University of the Arts, and the Kaufman Music Center

CMK Artists

Selecting outstanding cultural and artistic talents poised to become next-generation musicians and providing them with solo recital opportunities.

Key Information
  • Eligibility: 3 to 4 artists selected annually based on a review of domestic and international achievements and artistic activities
  • Programs: Supporting their growth into leading musicians of the next generation by providing solo recital opportunities and promotional support
CMK Arts Class

Cultivating global creative arts educators who integrate the arts into general education, while fostering a vibrant teachers' community.

Key Information
  • Domestic and international training programs in partnership with Artis, a leading UK-based creative arts education organization, teacher meetups, capacity building workshops, support for research in creative arts education, etc.
